Jaume Colom, CEO and founder of Denvelops, explains his vision in the conferences about construction, innovation and sustainability organized by ITeC.
On November 3rd, 4th and 5th, the conference “Innovative technical solutions to construction challenges” was held, where several companies committed to sustainability and improvement of construction systems were invited.
The event, was held online together with other experts and prestigious construction companies, and it presented very current systems and the main challenges from the point of view of different component and system suppliers.
From Denvelops, its designer and founder Jaume Colom presented the main advantages of his method, and the most important points of its innovation.
Among the most important advantages, Denvelops support offers a wide versatility of components in their placement; such as fixed or mobile parts, regardless of the material. It also offers multiple position forms integrated in the same panel, controlling different in each element, such as size formats, separation or different inclinations.
As a whole, this adaptation capacity offers the designer and the client the control of other more general variables, such as different opacities in the same façade, or a thermal behavior specifically designed for each project. All this is integrated into a single system and with a manufacturing and assembly process already reflected in several success stories.
Finally, Jaume posed the future challenges of Denvelops. The first of these is the optimization of its digital system. A parametric software is currently being developed as a platform for decision making in design and execution control.
Denvelops is also currently involved in multiple research projects with more technological components, such as dynamic control in mobile systems.
